The city came alive for Classic Week, and nowhere was that more evident than inside the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel, where the Power of Magic – Harlem Nights celebration unfolded in true speakeasy style. Hosted by State Representative Juandalynn Givan in collaboration with Six Pratt Community & Economic Development, this was more than just a party...it was a statement.
Dressed in feathers, fedoras, and flair, guests entered a transformed ballroom echoing the golden era of Harlem nightlife. The event, which was part of the weeklong Magic City Classic festivities, was a tribute to Birmingham’s cultural richness, historic pride, and vibrant community.
A Full Evening of Entertainment and Elegance
The night kicked off with high-energy music from DJ Chocolate, followed by a live band that kept the crowd moving from the dance floor to the gaming tables.
