The Lowndes Community Foundation, a public charity and affiliate of the CREATE Foundation, pulled off something special for their supporters this year hosting their First Annual Casino Night at the Trotter Convention Center in Columbus, Mississippi. Focused on encouraging long-term charitable investment in Lowndes County, the Foundation took a fun and bold approach to community fundraising by throwing their very first casino-themed fundraiser.
And it was a hit.
What BAMA Casino Company Provided
We were proud to partner with the Lowndes Community Foundation to bring the full casino night experience to their guests. We set up:
Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Poker, and Slot Machines
A DJ from Feel the Beat Entertainment to keep the energy up all night
A fun and interactive photo booth by Cool Shots Photo Booth
It wasn’t real gambling but it was real fun. Guests played with $500 in funny money chips, and exchanged them for raffle entries with prizes that included a quail hunt at Fincher Farms and a week-long stay at a beachside condo on Scenic Hwy 30A, Florida. The event was 21+, complete with two drink tickets for the cash bar sponsored by Zachary’s and delicious food from local vendors.
An Incredible Turnout and Even Better Feedback
This event meant a lot to the organizing committee. Since it was their first time planning a casino party fundraiser, they had to coordinate closely with local government to get approval for a casino-themed event. They put in the work—and it showed.
The energy was nonstop from start to finish. Every table stayed full. The DJ kept people dancing. The photo booth was buzzing. Guests had a blast and the feedback rolled in all night. People loved it.
And most importantly, the client did too.
The Lowndes Community Foundation team was thrilled with how the night went and told us they want to bring BAMA Casino Company back next year. That’s the kind of result we always aim for, making sure guests are happy, and the host feels like it was all worth it.
